Who we are

Bubbles & Sun is a laundromat and tanning salon at 279 Main St, Hudson Falls, NY 12839. This policy covers the website at bubbles-and-sun.com only. It does not cover what happens when you visit the shop in person, call us, or message us on Facebook.

Information we collect on this site

None that identifies you. There is no contact form, no login, no account, no order system, and no mailing-list signup anywhere on this website. We set no cookies of our own and we run no analytics or advertising software. We do not know who visits this site.

Third-party services this page loads

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and two things on it are served by Google. Each of those companies receives your IP address and basic browser information when the relevant part of the page loads, because that is how the internet delivers a file. We never see that data — it goes to them, not to us.

• GitHub Pages (hosting). GitHub serves the page and keeps standard server logs. See GitHub's privacy statement.
• Google Fonts. The two typefaces on this site are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com.
• Google Maps. The map on the main page is an embedded Google Map. Google may set cookies in that embed. If you would rather not load it, you can use the “Get directions” link instead, which does nothing until you click it. See Google's privacy policy.

Cookies

We set none. The embedded Google Map may set its own, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; nothing on this site will stop working if you do, apart from the map embed.

Children

This site is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including children. Separately, note that New York State law prohibits indoor tanning for anyone under 17, and 17-year-olds require written parental consent in person at the salon.

Your choices

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to show you, correct, or delete. If you have contacted the shop directly — by phone, by e-mail, or through Facebook — and you want that conversation deleted, call us and we will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add a booking form, an online payment option, or analytics to this site, we will update this page before that feature goes live and change the date at the top.

Prices, hours, and availability

We keep the prices, hours, and services on this site as current as we can, but they are published for information only and can change without notice. The prices and hours posted inside the store are the ones that apply. Nothing on this website is a binding offer, a quotation, or a guarantee that a particular machine, bed, or product is available.

Tanning

Tanning services are subject to New York State law and to the rules posted at the salon, including age limits, mandatory eye protection, and session-length limits. Staff may refuse or shorten a session at their discretion. Descriptions of packages on this site are summaries; the full terms are given to you at sign-up.

Laundry

Machines are used at your own risk. Follow the posted instructions and the machine labelling. Do not leave laundry unattended — we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, and unclaimed property is handled under the policy posted in the store.

Use of the site

You may read, print, and share this site freely. You may not copy the design, text, logos, or artwork for another business, scrape the site, or attempt to interfere with how it works. The Bubbles & Sun name and artwork belong to us.

Links to other sites

This site links to Facebook, Google Maps, and TNT Rentals. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be error-free or always available, and to the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on information published on it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Accessibility Statement

Bubbles & Sun wants every customer to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard only, magnification, or high-contrast settings.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. As of the date above, this site has been checked against that standard and:

• All text and interface colours meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum (3:1 for large display text), verified by calculation rather than by eye.
• Every part of the page can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring, and a “Skip to main content” link is the first tab stop.
• Headings run in order, the page declares its language, links describe where they go, and decorative artwork is hidden from screen readers.
• The floating-bubble animation stops automatically for visitors whose device is set to “reduce motion.”
• The layout reflows to a single column on small screens and survives zooming to 200%.

Known limitation

The store-location map is an embedded Google Map. We do not control its markup or its keyboard behaviour. The full street address and a plain “Get directions” link are given next to it in ordinary text so the map is never the only way to get that information.
